Join us for our welcome party with drinks and nibbles at Bellavista Boutique Hotel & Ristorante in Brunate, a west-facing village perched 500m above Como, where we’ve spent countless evenings enjoying the view, an Aperol Spritz, and the sunset (in that order).
Food and drinks will be served from 7pm to 11pm. We strongly encourage using the funicolare (both ways): park in downtown Como and take the funicolare up to Brunate, which stops just a short walk from the venue. The last ride down is at midnight, and it’s by far the easiest option given the narrow roads and limited parking.
Should you enjoy a few drinks during the evening and not be staying in Como city, we’ll leave it to you to organise transport accordingly.

Our welcome party will be held at Bellavista Boutique Hotel e Ristorante in Brunate, a truly special place for us. Perched high above Lake Como in a beautifully restored Art Nouveau hotel and family-run restaurant with breathtaking panoramic views, it’s where we always begin and end every trip to Como.
Festive and slightly elevated, with a cocktail-party vibe rather than formal attire.
For women:
Any shade of yellow is welcome, including bright, butter, or mustard tones
Dresses, separates, jumpsuits, or playsuits are all suitable
The entire outfit does not need to be yellow. A clear and noticeable pop of yellow is perfect
Flats, block heels, or low heels are recommended, as some areas may be uneven. Please avoid trainers
As this is a cultural celebration, unambiguous yellow is preferred where possible.
For men:
A smart-casual look with a pop of yellow
Shirts, polos, trousers, shorts, or lightweight suits are all appropriate
Shoes may be casual or dressy
